Today I attempted the Greek recipe Spanakopita. It was delicious, had TONS of nutritious spinach in it. The recipe said it was easy to make... but I found the filo dough really difficult to work with! It kept tearing and flaking, and it took me forever to layer things up. Josie was a big help, of course.

Yummmmmmmm. I love Spanakopita. I will have to try the recipe you linked. I am intimidated by Filo dough paper sheets and have never made it myself.

I NEVER have any luck with filo dough. It is sooo hard to work with, I agree. We made some of Trader Joes Spanakopita from the frozen section the other day. It was delicious, but I'd love to actually make my own sometime! Kudos to you :)
